Green Room Selfie Gallery

I’ve always loved bathrooms. Something about the acoustics and the sound of my voice, I think. As a kid, my mother often found me in public restrooms, staring in the mirror and singing to myself. On a February evening in 2018, I took two mirror selfies at Nietzsche’s in Buffalo, NY: one with my friends Kisandra and Ashlynn in the venue bathroom and the other in the bathroom of the green room. I loved the general vibe of the photos. Something about the graffiti and grime on the mirrors screamed, “Rock n’ Roll, baby.” I sporadically took selfies at shows through spring and summer. As I ventured onto my first tour with Aqueous in the fall of 2018, I decided to document the adventure through green room selfies, with the first photo taken during tour rehearsal at the Town Ballroom in Buffalo. In venues nationwide, I’ve taken pics in green rooms and bathrooms (if there was no green room mirror). Each show represents my journey in the industry over the last four years, as a band manager, tour manager, merch manager/, seller, promoter, talent buyer, or Artist Relations Director.
